PICTURE

As the years go by, technology gets better and better, so it's obvious that the DVD collection is the best format that the Indy trilogy has ever been presented in. All three of the films colors are as pure and crisp as they've ever been. With the many different locations that Indiana ventures through, the restoration has done wonders for the scenery, especially in Raiders of the Lost Ark. For the three films being shot in the 80's, it is a fairly clean print, with very minor flaws that most people won't notice because the entertainment level is so high, it would go unrecognized.

AUDIO

The dynamic sound of the trilogy puts you right in the environment of the film. The front and surround speakers are put to great use, effectively using all of the various sounds and sound effects in each film. The dialogue is crisp, the ambiance is powerful, and the score provided by John Williams is nothing short of spectacular. Turn up the volume and be blown away by this superbly remastered soundtrack.
