After having a rather successful year of blockbuster after blockbuster, 'The Heartbreak Kid' finally ended DreamWorks reign of hits.

The film slumped further with an estimated $1.8 million taking the total to $35.9 million

With negative reviews from critics and public alike, the film is unlikely to go beyond $40 million domestically and should score same if not less overseas. Currently it stands at $21.3 million overseas

The DVD might help cover the budget which should be above $40 million.
