Not a copy but one can certainly tell that it was inspired by Josh Meeter's short that caught Steven Spielberg's attention in 2001 entitled 'The Awards Showdown'. However, this short brings Spielberg and Hitchcock into the boxing ring as they use the techniques from their films to eliminate the opponent.
