The 'Transformers' train keeps rolling along as it had its best day yet on the 4th of July holiday, grossing just under million according to ShowBIZ Data.

In two-and-a-half days, it has grossed .6 million, set a new Tuesday box office record and become the third-highest grossing movie on a Wednesday, surpassing movies like Star Wars: Episode I and Mel Gibson's The Passion of The Christ which both opened on a Wednesday.
