DreamWorks News: Spielberg Developing Sitcoms @ NBC
Jan 12, 2006 - 03:19 AM
"Steven Spielberg is busy working on two new projects based on his ideas. Both projects are devised as single-camera comedies from DreamWorks TV, and are to be co-produced by NBC Universal TV.

The first is a still-untitled Fox project to be written by Carol Leifer, most known for her work on 'Seinfeld', 'Saturday Night Live' and 'The Larry Sanders Show'. That series will deal with the antics of two recently divorced high society women who form an unlikely friendship. Allegedly, Fox has already given a script commitment to the show.

The other show, to be set up at NBC is called 'Fix Me' and is a sitcom about pediatricians and their young patients. The pilot is to be written by ""The Bernie Mac Show"" creator Larry Wilmore.
