"Red Eye scribe Carl Ellsworth is reteaming with DreamWorks on Sleepless Knights for producer Don Murphy.

Pic will be akin to ""The Goonies"" in tone. It's based on the comicbook by Grant Morrision, in which a time-travel experiment gets the world stuck in Halloween night. It's up to four kids to defeat the evil in their town.

Murphy is producing.

Marc Haimes and Jean Algood are overseeing for DreamWorks.

Ellsworth penned the DreamWorks thriller Red Eye, which is about to start shooting with Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy. Scribe has extensive TV credits including episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and ""Cleopatra 2525.""
