DreamWorks News: 'Munich' Leads DreamWorks Nominations

"Steven Spielberg's haunting tale of Middle East leads the Nominations for DreamWorks films at the upcoming Academy Awards.

Eric Bana starrer received 5 nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Editing. Meanwhile, Spielberg produced Memoirs of a Geisha received 6 nominations including Best Cinematography, Best Costumes, Best Art Direction, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing and Best Original Score.

War of the Worlds received grabbed another chunk including Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing and Best Visual Effects. The Woody Allen thriller Match Point was able to score only one nomination, Best Original Screenplay.

Last but not least 'Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit' received nomination for Best Animated Feature as Madagascar was ran short with the likes of Corpse Bride and Howl's Moving Castle."
