This year, DreamWorks was nominated for only four Academy Awards, of which only came home as a winner.

Sweeney Todd which was nominated for Best Actor, Best Costume Design and Best Art Direction only managed to take home the latter category. Dante Ferretti and Francesca Lo Schiavo were the winners.

The fourth nomination went to The Kite Runner for Original score but lost to 'Atonement'.
