DreamWorks was able to take 3 Oscars home out of it's 15 nominations at the 79th Annual Academy Awards.

'DreamGirls' which was up for 8 nominations only won 2 for Best Supporting Actress-Jennifer Hudson and Best Sound Mixing-Michael Minkler, Bob Beemer and Willie Burton. Meanwhile 'Iwo Jima' won for Best Sound Editing-Alan Robert Murray and it's sister film 'Flags of our Fathers' went home Award less.
