Platinum Studios' 'Atlantis Rising' has caught the eye of DreamWorks according to today's Hollywood Reporter. The studio has optioned up the rights to the book for Autobot scribes Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.

The comic book centers on the re-emergence of the mythical city of Atlantis, and its lost inhabitants who wage war on the surface world. It was created by Platinum chairman and CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, who will produce the movie.
